Evening of Readings
Annual Gala
An Evening of Readings Annual Gala is an important event to benefit Literacy Partners, hosted on Monday, May 12, 2008 at Lincoln Center.
An Evening of Readings begins with a cocktail reception at 6:00PM followed by the program. Gala Chairman and host, Liz Smith,is traditionally joined by The Honorable Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg who, with Liz, leads the program that includes readings from their newest works by acclaimed authors.

Dinner on the Promenade of the N. Y. State Theater immediately follows. As an important part of the program, one or more individuals are honored for their support of education.
