Our classes go beyond the traditional definition of literacy education, helping parents acquire the skills they need to thrive in New York City, whether navigating the health care system, finances, the school system, or job searches.

  • 67% of parents reported that their children had library cards—an important gateway to regular reading.
  • The percentage of parents who had not taken their children to the library in the past month dropped from 19% to 0%.
